Discover A Loggia Glazed Extension

Re-defining Conservatory Thinking

Tuesday 17th November 2015

At A New Room we’re always ahead of the game and eager to offer our prospective customers the very latest products for the extended living space market. With the average floor space in the UK, the lowest in Europe at just 85sq  metres we must maximize the limited room we have, but that doesn’t mean we need to sacrifice on design.

Loggia is a new way of thinking about a conservatory. These are super-insulated posts that can be incorporated into traditional conservatory designs and are available in several subtle colours. Choose traditional green Loggia posts and these can be perfectly complemented with white grain windows and doors, while the cream coloured posts can be matched with cream windows and doors. For a more urban appeal, we can also offer the posts in grey.

It’s important to note that the Loggia posts have a U-value of only 0.15 W/m2, making them twice as efficient as a normal insulated cavity wall and 10 times more effective than typical window glazing. While internally, Loggia’s construction is just like a real room, with a plastered finish just like traditional masonry. The gap between the PVCu conservatory and a traditional single story extension is getting ever narrower with products such as Loggia and our tiled Garden Room.

While most of our Loggias are installed to the rear and side of properties for both new installations and conservatory replacement projects, we can also offer a Garden Loggia. This is a free standing structure that can be used as an office, a gym or just simply a space to relax and there are a number of design options including the addition of specialist Loggia heaters.

The Loggia posts are perfectly matched with the LivinRoom insulated pelmet and Cornice gutter shroud, adding a true sense of style to any A New Room project. Talk to your local Registered Installer for further expert advice.
